Wet papers can be a quick solution to remove makeup when you are tired from a long day at work, or from an evening spent outside.
As we do this, the question arises: Are we damaging the skin or not? How much damage are we doing to the face by using a damp paper instead of washing?
It is always preached about the consequences of sleeping with makeup still on the face, products that block pores, collect impurities and irritate the skin. Even though with wet papers you are actually removing makeup (something that really needs to be done), everything also has side effects.
Try to use them in rare emergencies and as little as possible. In such cases, you should consider solutions containing wet paper for minimal side effects. If they contain alcohol it will irritate your skin and dry it out. Try to avoid those with artificial scents as well. Also remember that even though you have used wet paper, you still need to rinse your face with running water as if you were going to use the longest route.
