Elon Musk suggested to his numerous followers in number to use Signal, an app which turned out to be one of the most downloaded in the Apple Store and Google Play.
Use Signal

It all started after Elon Musk criticized the privacy policies of Facebook, which also owns WhatsApp. For years, WhatsApp has been considered one of the most secure companies, but Facebook policy changes have led to the collection of user data through WhatsApp to be used by Facebook.
This is not the first time Musk has criticized the way Facebook handles users' privacy. In 2018, he closed his personal profile, including the Tesla and SpaseX site.
Immediately after his suggestion, Signal recorded a record number of downloads worldwide. Signal works like any typical text messaging application. The application is being developed by Signal Foundation, a non-profit organization with the aim of developing a secure technology that protects privacy.
