The chaos caused yesterday on Capitol Hill in Washington cost the lives of 4 people, among them a woman. Hundreds of supporters of President Trump clashed with National Guard troops, who took action in an effort to maintain peace.
The armed crowd running in the Congress hall, people climbing walls, fire and violence as an attempt to stop lawmakers from continuing the process of certifying Joe Biden's victory normally. Dozens of them raided the offices and corridors of one of the most important political countries in the US.
Although accused of inciting this violent uprising, Trump publicly called on supporters to renounce violence.
On the other hand, Joe Biden commented on the whole situation, saying that American democracy is "under unprecedented attack."
"I know you are hurt. I know your pain. We had choices that were stolen from us. They were strong choices and everyone knows it, especially the other side. Anyway, you have to go home now. There has to be peace. "- said Donald Trump addressing the outraged protesters.
A good portion of them heard his call and fled from there, while others stayed on Capitol Hill to go all the way to their violent protest.
