On the eve of the official confirmation for the new president Joe Biden, Trump supporters have not spared creating chaotic situation in Washington.
The protesters entered the premises of the US Congress, suspending the session that was expected to be held to confirm the mandate of Joe Biden as the next US president.
It all happened at noon Wednesday, just hours after Trump asked Vice President Mike Pence to ask Congress to ban Joe Biden's mandate on allegations of election fraud.
Some of the protesters were armed, physically confronting police forces.
The condition has escalated and from the first data, a woman is seriously injured with a firearm. On the other hand, security forces put lawmakers in safe environments to avoid violent situations inside.
Following the chaotic situation on the US Capitol, Trump has been forced to urge his supporters to remain calm and not protest violently.
"I urge everyone in Congress to stand up peacefully. No violence! "Remember, we are the party of law and order, respect the law and our great men and women in blue uniforms, thank you," Trump wrote on Twitter.
