For most of you, shampooing your hair almost every morning (or every night) is like brushing your teeth, eating breakfast, or putting on your shoes.
But it seems that, in fact, by doing this regularly you are damaging your hair, much more than you might think.
Why can shampoo be damaging your hair?
Shampoo can have a "stripping" effect on our hair, making it greasy, faster than usual.
When you use shampoo too often, you are removing the natural protective barrier of your scalp and hair.
The body then responds by "self-regulating" and reproducing all the missing oils. This leads to a vicious cycle, where the more you clean the more fat you produce.
All hair experts agree that frequent hair washing can make them greasy than normal.
3 times a week is more than enough to wash your hair!
If you do this regularly, you will notice noticeable changes.
Frequent touching and combing of hair can also add fat.
