As predicted, today (December 27) the vaccination program against Covid-19 has started in European countries. In some of them, vaccination started last night where health workers in Hungary, Slovakia and Germany received the first injections of the Pfizer / BioNtech vaccine.
The first to receive the Covid-19 vaccine in Germany was 101-year-old Edith Këoizalla. Jens Spahn, German health minister said the vaccine is essential to end the pandemic and return life to normal.
Meanwhile, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis was vaccinated this morning. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Saturday that the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine has been delivered to all 27 member states.
In the UK, on ??the other hand, there are rumors that the Oxford / AstraZeneca vaccine will be approved for immediate use as early as next week, or even as early as tomorrow. They believe that this vaccine will also work against mutations in the virus, but further testing is needed to confirm this.
