In an exclusive interview for Who magazine, Xhemi Shehu talks about retiring from television, the experience in Orange, friends and family.
Regarding this first, she says that "she does not return anything on television, except for a very big surprise".
Of all her projects, Jamie chooses Orange as the most beloved program for her.
"I have done other programs, which is not that they have aroused any interest or given me any pleasure. I did what I had to do, but not out of passion or desire. I did them because I wanted to return to 'Orange' ".
Thus, she returned for 5 years, as a presenter, but also as an actress in several roles, until she was getting the same pleasure.
"That's why I withdrew from 'Portokallia' because I was no longer taking pleasure in it, and that is why I am saying that some surprise should happen for me to come back again, always in a format similar to 'Portokallina'. "I have no ambition to do other programs."
She adds:
"So it's very likely that I'm attracted to it and closed it once and for all with television, because it 's not that I think something as good as' Orange' will ever be done, because what we're seeing now I do not think "It's the maximum of that spectacle. Or maybe it 's exhausted and over time… I do not know, I do not know what to say, but it no longer attracts me."
Asked if she follows the program anymore, now that she is no longer part of it, she answers:
"The first Sunday, yes, I saw it, then the second I could not push it, I left it halfway. But not that it was not me. "I think the director lacked that program."
