In a recent statement, the chairwoman of the Technical Committee, Mira Rakacolli stated that the situation of Covid-19 in recent days has been more positive.
The measures taken seem to have resulted in a reduction in the number of hospitalizations as well as in positive cases. This means that so far there is no need to add other restrictive measures, as discussed.
According to experts, the reduction in hospitalizations and infections has come as a result of the mediocre measures taken in recent weeks.
"We had the opportunity to discuss and share experiences with Turkish colleagues. I take this opportunity to thank them for their dedication. We discussed the epidemiological situation as well as the measures taken. We have carefully considered the fall-winter coping strategy.
Turkish colleagues have had the opportunity to go on the ground, watching the situation closely. We discussed both continuity and future problems. There is a decrease in hospitalization numbers and positivity. Experts have rated it as a value coming from the average level measures that have been taken. "We are continuing to monitor the situation so that we can continue to have it under control," Rakacolli said.
Meanwhile, Silva Bino said the tests have quadrupled, which makes tracking faster and helps reduce the chain of infection.
