The main concern of many European leaders at the moment is Christmas! Everyone is waiting to see what will happen to the pandemic measures, whether travel, restaurants or new rules regarding curfew will be allowed.
What is known so far?
Germany
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has ordered the closure of the country over Christmas amid an alarming increase in coronavirus cases in the country. Under the new emergency measures, which run from December 16 to January 10, all non-essential schools and shops across Germany must be closed, and bars and restaurants will be closed.
In an effort to prevent crowds outdoors during the period in question, the sale of fireworks and the drinking of alcohol in public has also been banned. The only relief is that up to 10 people will be allowed to gather for the Christmas celebrations inside one house while currently only 5 people from two different families are allowed to gather.
Italy
The Italian leader has now added restrictions for the Christmas period, but some epidemiologists say the move has been too late.
Austria
Restaurants and hotels will be closed until January 6th. Austria was quarantined on December 7, but restaurants and hotels will continue to be closed until January 6, 2021. In terms of travel, people from: Australia, Iceland, Monaco, Slovakia, Belgium, Italy, Zealand and New, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Denmark, Canada, Norway, Germany, Croatia, Poland, Finland, Vatican, Greece, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Malta, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland, San Marino and France.
Belgium
Belgjika nuk do të lejojë udhëtimet që s'janë të nevojshme. Që nga 18 dhjetori, të gjithë ata që vijnë nga një zonë e kuqe, do të qëndrojnë 10 ditë në karantinë, por nëse bëjnë testin dhe dalin negativë, karantina reduktohet në 7 ditë. Për Krishtlindje, do të lejohen miqtë për të festuar së bashku, por vetëm në oborrin/kopshtin e shtëpisë. Vetëm 1 person do të lejohet të futet brenda shtëpisë nëse do t'i duhet të përdorë tualetin.
Bullgaria
Do të lejojë hyrjen e njerëzve nga 46 shtete, përfshi dhe Shqipërinë. Maskat janë detyrim, ndërsa aktivitetet dhe shtëpizat në "Fshatin e Krishtlindjeve" kanë reduktuar orarin në kryeqytet.
Danimarka
Danimarka ka mbyllur baret dhe palestrat për të shmangur përhapjen e Covid-19 dhe në 11 dhjetor karantina u zgjerua në më shumë se 31 bashki të vendit. Thuhet se ky vendim do të zgjasë deri në 3 janar.
Irlanda
Masat kufizuese u zgjatën deri në 6 janar. Të gjithë ata që do të hyjnë në vend duhet të kenë me vete përgjigjen negative të tamponit.
Franca
Resortet e skive janë të mbyllura, por ndonëse vendi është në karantinë, dyqanet do të qëndrojnë hapur. Qytetarët nuk mund të qëndrojnë jashtë për më shumë se 3 orë, por kjo masë do të lirohet në 24 dhjetor për t'u kthyer sërish pas Krishtlindjeve. Restorantet, resortet, etj do të jenë të mbyllura deri në 20 janar.
Norvegjia
10 njerëz mund të takohen nga 24 dhjetori deri në 31 dhjetor. Karantina atje momentalisht është 10 ditë, por autoritetet sugjerojnë qëndrimin në shtëpi sa më shumë të jetë e mundur. Qeveria lejon mbledhjen deri në 5 miq në shtëpi, por natën e Krishtlindjeve dhe Vitit të Ri, numri shkon gjer në 10 të ftuar.
Suedia
Gathering no more than 8 people. The government advises avoiding contacts, keeping distance and staying with each other for a short time. People should avoid shops, trains and buses.
