George Northwood is one of Meghan Markle's most trusted hairdressers, at least before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially relinquished their roles as members of the royal family.
This, however, makes George feel free to share his work experience with the couple.
Northeood shows his top tips and tricks to keep your hair healthy:
# 1 - Do not style them too much
"One of my typical models is the 'unfinished waves', as you've seen Meghan and many of my other clients."
This makes the hair look stylish and natural, giving the idea that you have not strained too much to achieve that model.
And while your hair looks completely natural, you are keeping it even healthier.
# 2 - Add volume to give the illusion of thicker hair
A good volumizing sprayer can form a great base for styling and give the illusion of thicker and healthier hair, even if your hair is currently not in the best condition.
# 3 - Choose the mass instead of the straightener (hair straightener)
Stretching the hair with heat can cause a "static accumulation" in the soft hair and remove all the natural hair movement, while the mass gives it more movement and vitality. Even the ends of the hair look more "lifeless" when stretched.
# 4 - Trim your hair regularly
"Regular and quality haircuts will increase the health of your hair, as well as increase it."
# 5 - Treat your hair
"A regular deep treatment will revive any dry and weak winter hair. Buy products in safe places and consult your pharmacists or hairdressers.
# 6 - Allow your hair to dry on its own when possible
"During the quarantine, I noticed a big change in my hair, only I did not use heat for a long time."
Drying your hair naturally is very good for your hair.
