
From 18:00 to 21:00, numerous protesters gathered for the second time in some of the main areas of the capital, revolted after the murder of 25-year-old Klodjan Rasha.

From the beginning, the protest started tense, with protesters throwing stones at institutions, breaking benches, trash cans, traffic lights or lighting poles. In addition, there was no lack of confrontation with police officers and violence exercised by both parties.

Authorities responded to the riot by using Rapid Intervention Forces with water cannons, tear gas, batons and rubber bullets. According to Euronea, dozens of arrests have been made so far, with injuries reported.


In the official announcement of the Ministry of Health, it is said that 7 people were injured, 5 of whom are police officers.


One of the law enforcement officers has more serious injuries and after the examinations performed, it results in a cartilage fracture.
