The emergence of some mysterious monoliths from Romania, the Netherlands, England in the US, has caused social networks to flood with conspiracy and non-conspiracy theories about the reason for their placement. Some of the most widely believed theories are:
A game ... for attention
No one puts something shiny, in a place where it is easily visible, pretending not to be found. Whoever placed it, waited for the monolith to be photographed, distributed on social media and returned to the spotlight. So one theory says it is being done simply for attention. But why?
An artistic project
One theory suggests that the monolith is actually part of an extensive art project related to science fiction. In particular, there is speculation that John McCracken, a minimalist sculptor and fan of science fiction, who passed away in 2011, may be responsible for what is happening, according to The New York Times. His son, Patrick McCracken, thinks it could be his father's job as well. The father even told him that he would leave his art in remote areas to be discovered later.
"He was not ordinary. He believed in advance about the alien races that would visit the Earth. According to him, aliens have visited the Earth for a long time and are not malicious. "They wanted to help humanity get through this time of our evolution, where all we do is fight each other."
One way to consider the environment
Some are of the opinion that the placement of the metal Monolith in nature, in remote areas, may be an attempt to bring to attention the human impact on the environment.
Advertising campaign
One theory says that the display of structures may be related to some future project, why not science fiction, and this way of promotion is genius.
aliens
Some are of the opinion that the structures were set up by aliens. The end is 2020, nothing surprises us anymore.
