The Weeknd has reacted after being left out of the list of nominees for the Grammy Awards 2021.
The 30-year-old singer made the same post on his social networks, Twitter and Instagram, hours after the nominees for 63 Grammy Awards were announced:

Despite its success, The Weeknd's latest album, After Hours, failed to be nominated. His song "Blinding Lights", which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and Top 10 for 40 weeks, also failed to make the list of finalists for the song of the year.
"We understand that The Weeknd is disappointed that it has not been nominated," says Mason Jr., Grammy producer. "I was surprised and I understand. "His music this year has been excellent and his contribution to music is undeniable."
According to an article from TMZ, Grammy officials gave the musician an ultimatum between the two events, so he had to choose between Grammy and performance in the Super Bowl 2021.
Mason Jr. has completely denied this.
