On the cover of Vogue for December 2020, during the exclusive interview, Harry Styles also talked about his sense of fashion.
During the photo session, he appears in a lace dress, Gucci and is the first man to appear only on the cover of the magazine.
"Now I'm going to wear something that feels really great and I don't feel crazy wearing it," he told Vogue. "I think if you wear something you feel good about, it's like a superhero outfit. "The clothes are there to have fun and to experiment and play with them."
The singer went on to say that the "barriers" between what were considered men's clothing and women's clothing "are being destroyed", which leads to greater creative freedom.
"I go to the store and sometimes I just stand and look at the women's clothes, thinking how amazing they are. Like everything in life, whenever you set obstacles, you are simply limiting yourself. "There is so much joy in playing with clothes."
Harry Styles adds:
"I have never thought much about what that means. It just becomes an expanded part of creating something. ”
