During the joint conference with the Minister of Health, the director of the WHO for Europe, Hans Kluge, spoke about the current situation of Covid-19 in Albania and the next strategies that are expected to be implemented.
As promised, the application of rapid tests is expected to start soon, but how long will they take?
"After 8 or 10 weeks, but we are trying to shorten the deadline. Science has never moved as fast as in this war. No one is doing any isolated work aside, which we do not know, but we are all working , and we are trying to shorten the time. "- replied the director of WHO.
He also stated that indoor facilities pose a great risk, therefore the vigilance of citizens is very important. As for the vaccine, Kluge called it "a global good" which will be evenly distributed immediately after production.
In the first phase, Albania did very well, better than many other countries due to the drastic reaction. Now the situation is the same as in other countries. There have been places that are stored in the first and then hit harder, the secret is vigilance. Staying indoors during the winter is a problem. Schools are "ok" do not have a high infection rate. Even countries with the strongest health systems can get tired quickly, we have seen the case of Spain.

This was confirmed by Minister Manastirliu, who said that Albanians will have access to the vaccine against Covid-19 once it is launched on the market, just like other countries.
