"Emily in Paris" follows Emily (Lily Collins), an ambitious twenty-something girl from Chicago, who suddenly settles in Paris in a luxury marketing company. She is tasked with reshaping their social media strategy and starting a new life in Paris filled with adventures and challenges.
After criticizing French stereotypes, the creator of the series, who is also the creator of "Sex an the City" and "Younger", Darren Star told Variety:
"It's an American show and an American experience of being in Paris. I think it entertains both cultures. ”
