The measures taken so far do not seem to be yielding the expected results in Kosovo. The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, during a recent interview, warned of the need for a total closure in the country as a result of the aggravated situation.
The high number of cases has made the health capacity to be on the verge of its limits. Hoti said even more austerity measures are being prepared and are expected to take effect within 2 days.
"The situation is really serious, very serious. The number of new cases is very high and we are almost within the capacity limits we have in our hospitals. We are forced to take measures that have seemed drastic. We have taken some measures so far, some a little stricter measures last weekend and now we are preparing the measures which I believe will come into force in two days because we are doing some necessary consultations within different organizations, with businesses, with chambers of commerce. , with different groups that are most affected by the undertaking of these measures, which we are obliged to take. "- he said.
The extreme measures that are expected to be taken include the total closure of the country, the full quarantine similar to that of two months ago. Meanwhile in our country, starting tomorrow the free time schedule will be from 6:00 to 22:00.
