There are two types of people: those who believe in conspiracy theories because they are convinced that there is always something behind the curtain, and the other group who believe in nothing but what they see with their own eyes.
Finally, there is some new evidence that a person's qualities influence the fact that he / she believes in conspiracy theories.
Specifically, people who feel very important, who are narcissistic, anxious, or very impulsive are more likely to cling to these theories than people who do not display such traits.
Such a conclusion was reached by researchers at Emory University in a study published in The Journal of Personality.
1927 people involved in the experiment were asked if they believed in various conspiracy theories and it turned out that 40% of them believed while the rest, did not. What was further noticed was that most of those who believed in him had similar characteristics in their personality.
From the responses received it was concluded that people who tended to be organized, responsible, calm and very diligent at work did not believe in such theories. However, more detailed research on human personality is still needed to prove this.
