In early August, Angie Madden from Georgia, a state in the US, a teacher, posted a video on Facebook encouraging students and other teachers to use a simple technique to avoid mask problems.
The product is called Face Mask Inner Support Frame and is a small plastic device, which is placed under the mask, in the mouth. It may seem trivial, but the device enables a small distance between the mask and the mouth, thus enabling communication with less difficulty.
After Madden's video, but also after other posts on social networks, this product is one of the best sellers on Amazon.
It should be noted, however, that on the other hand, the product has raised concerns, due to its effectiveness in preventing the spread of Covid-19. A Johns Hopkins expert told InStyle that "if the mask does not fit well, it may not work." Therefore, if the placement of the device creates space on the face, you should choose a larger mask.
