... unusual, but nonetheless, not surprising! The 72nd Emmy Awards ceremony will be held virtually, while the presenters of the awards will be presented with an unusual outfit, but in a pandemic year like this, we were not surprised.
The clothing of choice is the hazmat suit - which is an impenetrable clothing and serves to protect the body from hazardous materials, in this case from infection with Covid-19. Such suits are often combined with breathing apparatus to provide air supply.

The producers said the costumes were deliberately selected: They are fun on the one hand, but also serve as a means to ensure the health of the people present.
