If you are a regular user of social networks and constantly follow meme pages, you have probably seen physical clashes between unknown girls. It is difficult to say whether these ongoing quarrels, which are spreading widely on social networks, are simply coincidences or there are several reasons why we are seeing more physical clashes between women. However some factors need to be considered.
Before we move on to the factors, it is worth clarifying why we are so impressed by the physical quarrels between the girls. It must be said that from an early age, children are educated in a way that quarrels, whether physical or verbal, are to some extent normal in boys, while in girls they are not. Perhaps also for the fact that by temperament and physical strength themselves, boys are more prone to physically respond, unlike girls. This not very conflicting nature of girls and women in general, has made the latter that even in art, such as literature or cinematography, be portrayed more with intrigue, why not cunning and clever action in silence, while boys and men , due to their nature, are mostly associated with direct reaction and action.
However, despite the fact that stereotypes may have some real basis, they remain stereotypes and it is not that today we are seeing for the first time physical fights between girls. Whether or not we are impressed remains a matter of perspective, but we do not believe we are wrong to say that we are seeing more and more and not without reason.
The first factor that comes to mind is the internet. If years ago, a heated debate passed via bluetooth from a keyboard phone within a close circle of friends, today it can be seen by hundreds of thousands of people within a second. The ease of disseminating any information has affected the visibility of certain content, in this case, physical hassles.
Another factor that is related to the Internet, but can also be treated on its own, is the "empowerment of memes". In a normal situation, there are three things you can do when a physical collision occurs between two or more people: 1) To leave to be safe 2) To try to separate them 3) To look curiously at what it is happening. But memes are a social phenomenon today and can be found everywhere, from social networks to street protests. Thus, no one hesitates to film and beat his chest proudly for the "next meme".
In addition to the "power" of the internet and memes, another factor is the hip hop culture, which has recently become widespread in the music industry in the country, of which more and more female singers are part. Many barriers have been removed and girls today behave, dress, swear and live "like a dude".
Certainly one's temperament is affected and of course the situation, and such conflicts should not be seen as the end of the world, because they can happen to anyone (never say never), however they should not be promoted as long as they are not the right way to solve a problem, be it between boys or girls.
