Bella Hadid has decided to be honest down to the details regarding her health condition.
The 23-year-old model talked about the symptoms of her illness, through a series of stories on Instagram.
Her disease is called Lyme and is an infectious disease, caused by the bacterium Borrelia.
The model reported symptoms such as difficulty breathing, headache, changes in body temperature, nausea, eating disorder, insomnia, joint pain, brain fog, weight gain and loss, hypersensitivity to light and sound and many more.
"Every day, I feel at least 10 of these symptoms, from the age of 14, but more aggressively after I turned 18," reveals Hadid.
"It simply came to our notice then. "Without a cure", she says.
The model refers to the disease as "invisible disease" because apparently, it is not visually visible to other people when someone experiences its symptoms.
Hadid's younger brother Anwar and their mother, Yolanda, also suffer from this disease.
Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid, who is expecting her first child with Zayn Malik, spoke last year about the feeling of guilt she had, as she did not experience the same pain as those of her family members.
"The fact that I grew up with three of my sick family members made me independent. "My mother could not give up the car or get up from her height for a few days, so I took my brother to school, had lunch, etc.," she told Elle in 2019.
Gigi added:
"I also felt guilty for being the only person in the family who did not understand what they were going through. "It's very difficult when your whole family is in pain and I do not know what to do."
