Payless, a low-cost shoe store in America, decided to open a new boutique and call it Paless (as a code for Pay-less, the name of the real store). Palessi would have the same shoes, but already placed in a luxurious setting with avant-garde sculptures and other details.

The new store was marketed as a luxury shoe brand and so the shoes that at Payless would cost $ 19.99, at Paless got $ 600. This 1800% price increase seems crazy, but the real madness is the people, who pay so much money for them, without any doubt.
