Based on a question asked to you by Dojna Memes a few days ago on her Instagram, we were reminded of all the cases when the question "Are you a virgin?" has been asked of a girl on screen (suffice it to recall how many times Kida has been asked this question). We are not mentioning here "who said when" because with a quick Google search you can find endless interviews with such questions. Rather than "who said it," what matters is "Why not say it again."
Aside from all the emancipatory reasons and backward mindsets you think you?ll leave with this question, it?s not at all correct. Below you will find some of the reasons why the question "Are you a virgin?" should not be done anymore!
- Initially, if it comes from a journalist, it is unfortunate. This question insults the intelligence and creativity of every journalist who does it, because it shows the inability of anyone to find something more interesting, to sell the interview. Recall that such questions were asked during high school in a game "True or Challenge". We believe that our journalists have finished high school.
- This is a very personal and intimate question that no one should be interested in, because everyone is free to do what he / she wants with his / her body. This thing has nothing to do directly with the complexes that the character may have, but since this is something personal, this man just won?t make everything public about himself. Maybe this is not the part that will show in public and should be respected.
- Anyone who answers this question gives an example, sets a time when it is a good age to do x thing, unconsciously putting pressure on someone who sees it. It?s not about emancipating girls that this thing is okay. If you want to emancipate girls, teach them to recognize their body. Such time limits only complicate girls and nothing more (remember that the question Dojna asked you was "Is it normal for a 19-year-old girl to be a virgin?").
- Finally, we think that in 2020 we should give up such questions. Even if they are news or of interest to the public, we must teach the latter not to be interested in such a thing anymore.
