"Honey has natural anti-inflammatory properties, making it an excellent home remedy for dry skin, burns or even psoriasis," says dermatologist Joshua Zeichner (via Marie Claire). "Indian saffron, on the other hand, is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that is known for its positive properties in treating acne, whitening dark spots on the skin and reversing wrinkles."
To prepare the mask: Mix half a tablespoon of saffron with a tablespoon of honey. Apply the created mass on the washed face and leave for 20 minutes. Then wash your face.
Saffron can darken your skin a bit for a few hours so if you need to go out it is suggested to use this mask: Mix half a tablespoon of saffron, a tablespoon of oats, 2 tablespoons of yogurt and 1 tablespoon of honey. Other steps as above.
Don?t expect immediate results, but apply for a few nights in a row and after a week you can see improvement.
