After the examination of Albanian literature and language, which was considered by the graduates as difficult and not organized according to the plans previously published by the Ministry of Education, they organized today (June 12) a protest in front of the ministry.
Graduates require re-examination of the exam and non-consideration of questions outside the program. "This exam costs us school," they said, among other things.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Education, Besa Shahini, reacted on Facebook and considered the protest of the graduates as instigated by the opposition.
"I regretted the protest near the building of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth. I do not believe it has happened anywhere else that students are protesting the "difficult exams"! However, the pity for the "protesting" students comes to me along with the revolt against their instigators! Unfortunately, promoters are publicly posted and are not spokespersons. They are the political opposition of the country! Which is a unique absurdity: the opposition incites and supports protests against national tests !!! The opposition stimulates the "facilitation" of giving grades to students !!! But maybe there is nothing new here, while this opposition was yesterday the government of fake grades, fake diplomas, fake universities, fake exams, fake promotions. "
Following her reaction, Shahini said that the exams are designed by experts, whom she fully trusts.
"National exams are drafted by exam experts. I trust the Center for Educational Services (QSHA) when it says that this year's exams are easier than ever because they take place after a state of emergency and are therefore conceived only with alternatives - WITHOUT TOPICS developed at home. And this is easily confirmed at the end, when all the results are collected and if the test has been more difficult than the students' knowledge, then QSHA MAKES REPLACEMENTS OF FIVE POINTS FOR EVERYONE. But these technical issues have nothing to do with political debates or opposition protests. "
