The treatment of Adriana's case in "I want to make you happy" provoked a strong civic reaction to the very fact that the abuse, as claimed by Adriana, took place in state institutions. However, there were many people who opposed the treatment of her case on television for many reasons, which we are addressing at the outset.
One of the people who said that "the media is playing unprofessionally and dangerously" was Sevim Arbana, a women's rights activist. On her personal Facebook, Sevim Arbana said:
"It is about the show 'I want to make you happy' (Top Channel) where the story of violence and sexual abuse was given to an orphanage in Shkodra. The 27-year-old girl recounts the ordeal of horror and abuse in this state center. Why am I anathematizing the media in this case? ?
In the following, Arbana lists five reasons why the treatment of the case leaves much to be desired:
"First, in this show, with voice and image, a 27-year-old girl, an orphaned adult, appears, which means: with a little support and in difficult socio-economic conditions. No protection for her personal data, starting from the face, other identities, which endanger her to fall prey to the revenge of abusers, their family members, or beyond. Until when will the media apply this form, when it is already known that every victim, according to the rules and AMA, is exposed and their identities are hidden?
2. Before telling this story (and others on such a large scale) the journalist must confirm through the competent authorities, witnesses, teachers, community, etc., if the evidence is accurate, true or there is something else in this evidence. .
3. The accusation against famous people, families, teachers of a center, etc., must be safe and with evidence, before it becomes public. This case and not only creates a dangerous precedent of baseless accusations against any person who, due to duty, mission, business, has enemies and opponents. And even more so, of the discovery of truth and phenomenon.
4. To my knowledge, before the show, witnesses to this event called the host of the show and gave some information that does not fully confirm the victim's confession.
5. Finally, after this show, has he given the proper protection to the girl who confesses this horror? By whom? From the journalist, the state bodies, the police, the prosecution? ?
Based on the comments, there are many people who agree with the above opinion.

She also mentioned the police chief in Fushë-Arrëz as a sexual harasser, who was arrested and later released for lack of evidence.
In the " Broadcasting Code ", the Audiovisual Media Authority (AMA) states that the handling of events, including issues that are the subject of public debate, should be fair to all entities interested in these issues and should be presented objectively. impartial ?.
The "Principle of the Journalist's Code of Ethics ", drafted as a joint project of the European Union, the Council of Europe and the Albanian Media Council, emphasizes the same principle. The chapter "Accuracy and Honesty of Information" states that "journalists have the right to seek information and the right to access public information."
In this code, importance is given to accuracy and impartiality by providing a host of data from interested parties that can provide abundant and important information. In cases where it has not been possible to confirm the information, the media should make this clear.
What makes the situation more problematic is the fact that Adriana, despite improving her condition based on therapies with the psychologist, is not yet an individual who has recovered from the trauma she showed in the studio. This may not be the case, but it is possible that the 27-year-old may be at risk of retaliation or threats from those she publicly accused. Referring to the story in "I want to make you happy", Adriana said that "there are no emotions, but there is fear".
Such events are calling into question how dangerous the media treatment of such situations , which go beyond a lunch program or premiums, can be dangerous , as long as other individuals, including state institutions, are involved. Rather than "should they be treated?" it matters ?when and how they should be treated??, questions that find answers in many sources of information, interviews with stakeholders, privacy and impartiality.
