Albania officially counts more than 1,000 infected with Covid-19, exactly 1,004 referring to data published by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. But no matter how scary a three-digit number is from the back, it doesn't really tell us anything.
If we "read" the numbers, we realize that there are currently only 177 active patients with Covid-19. The vast majority, 795 are already cured and at least 32 people lost their lives to / with Covid-19.
Increasingly, the map of areas with infected people seems to be shrinking. Elbasan, Mirdita and Korcca have only one person with Covid-19. Fier number 4, Kamza 9 and Berat 10. The numbers increase in cities such as Shkodra (12 infected) and Kruja (27 infected).
Until now, Tirana and Durrës have the highest number of people affected by Covid-19, 59 and 53, respectively, but the situation seems manageable.
