During the live video conference with journalists, Prime Minister Rama answered questions that coincide with the biggest concerns of Albanians during this time. One of the most interesting issues is undoubtedly public transport, as one of the most needed services for citizens.
Rama said that in relation to public transport, a strategy is being drafted which will be made public in early June, a month in which a decision will be made regarding it.
Among other things, the head of state said that mitigation measures will continue, but Tirana is still a red zone.
"I want to draw your attention to the fact that mitigation measures will continue. Tirana still has a problem with relief in Tirana or in the red areas. Impossible this week. In the rest they will follow. We discussed the opening of kindergartens and nurseries on June 1st. If the numbers continue to be stable we can open them and this time should be used to make the conditions. They will enter classes with completely different rules and will be able to have a 3-week period before the state matura. We will continue to facilitate the circulation not in the red areas, z the length of the time bandages. Laying down the watch band especially at the time of work is a concern for the need to gather and increases the temptation to open locally. ?
Regarding the opening of bars, restaurants, which are expected to open on May 18, the Prime Minister said that the owners of such businesses should be very careful in respecting the measures.
"I want to reiterate that the premises must take action because the premises, transport and tourism are very hot and dangerous. The premises will be monitored very closely and I do not want to penalize them. The premises and the entrepreneurs of the premises must feel responsible for to protect citizens and Albanians. "
