What are Corona Party?
They are known as the Coronavirus Party or Corona Party and are parties that are claimed to be organized by those present in order to be infected with coronavirus. The phenomenon is most noticeable in Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom.
In March, police in Germany reported that groups of teenagers and young people in their twenties gathered in Baden-Württemberg. They celebrated in school and park settings. In April, 14 students in Estonia hosted a party. Some of them showed symptoms of Covid-19. After the holiday, 16 other students turned out to be infected. The German newspaper FAZ published an article in which it wrote that some people simply do not plan to stop the celebrations. Such celebrations are claimed to be organized for young people to get sick and then gain immunity.
Are these a Pox Party form?
Pox Party are social activities where children are deliberately exposed to infectious diseases to gain immunity. Such arrangements were made before vaccines were invented. Through these groupings, children became ill and gained immunity, which made it easier for them to get over a certain illness later. Nowadays, pox parties are organized by people who are against vaccination, but health experts oppose these holidays.
If there are so many reports that Corona Party is being organized, why question their existence?
At first glance, the situation seems scary and easily believable. American writer Benjamin Radford told the Rolling Stones that such celebrations are most likely untrue. "They are a variant of urban legends. They are similar to the legends that people are said to be trying to get infected with AIDS, ?he said. "Holidays are subjects of media coverage. Such events feed on a general sense of moral panic over the disease. ?
The fact that young people organize such celebrations is probably simply rebellion against isolation, but that does not mean that their goal is coronavirus infection. However such holidays are undoubtedly indicative that people are tired of quarantine and social distancing rules; are irresponsible celebrations and against state regulation that may inadvertently increase the number of people infected with Covid-19.
