Chances are that even after the pandemic is over, we will no longer meet and greet each other as before. At least for a while.
But how do we show respect and friendship for others? A "how are you?" and a smile is not enough, as we have recently witnessed. And the clash of the heels with each other or the elbows is simply embarrassing.
Order three alternatives that can be returned to the norm:
Warm hands
You can rub your hands together and hold them in front of you to express gratitude and love for the other party. This practice is applied in some synagogues.
From heart to heart
Put your hand on your heart and nod your head as you maintain eye contact with the person you are greeting. This greeting can be made at the same time as the other party.
Give yourself a hand
Join your hands to your chest and move a little. Add a head statement and eye contact and you?re ready.
For something more intimate, you can give a hug from afar. Cross your arms over your chest, with your palms clenched as you look the other person in the eye and nod your head.
