Through a Normative Act, the Council of Ministers approved an amendment to the decision taken on rent payments by businesses affected by the pandemic.
Under the change, small businesses will not pay rent for two months, even if they are not on the list of closed activities. Previously, only closed activities were included in this act.
The unpaid rent will be repaid proportionately and agreed with the landlord after May 2020.
The act includes all tenants natural or legal persons with income up to 14 million ALL per year who have a notarial lease contract for the development of the economic activity subscribed before the announcement of the state of the epidemic.
