Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, returned home to Los Angeles after spending several weeks in solitary confinement as a result of a positive coronavirus diagnosis.
The actor lay down, touched the ground and jumped as he got off the private jet. The couple was then photographed in a car together on the way home.
Tom and Rita, both 63, were in Australia for the first stages of producing a biopic about the life of Elvis Presley, directed by Buz Lurhmann. There they received the news that they had been infected with coronavirus.
They were hospitalized for a few days and then isolated at home. Two weeks after being diagnosed and a few days before traveling to America, the actor told Twitter that he and his wife are feeling better.
It is not yet known whether they have completely recovered from the virus.
