The desire to see how an online class develops sent me to the Ministry of Education's YouTube page, where teachers of various subjects explain - generally in PowerPoint or on the chalkboard - the day's lessons. I have also mentioned in another article that I am not in principle against online teaching, but rather that I should radically change the way teaching is conducted in local schools, but here we are to discuss another issue, which ironically Internet - Albanian language pointed out to us.
I am not an expert in mathematics, chemistry or physics, so I do not know how to appreciate a good teaching in chemistry and so on, but as a former student of Albanian Language and Literature, I was impressed by the scandalous organization - apologies for using of this word, but I could hardly find another adjective - of the class in Albanian language and literature.
As you can see below, the website of the Ministry of Education explains among other things the features of the cause-and-effect essay as well as the analysis of Ismail Kadare's "Palace of Dreams". It appears that ALT + 0235, ALT + 0203, ALT + 135, ALT + 128 (respectively, W, W, D and C) are unknown terms as long as they are missing in all of the lesson presentation slides.
Maybe I would have overlooked the problem if missing the letters "? "and" ç "would be the only problem, but on most pages, there are question marks with no question marks, sentences ending with no points, topics they are not put in quotation marks, they lack editing significantly and are numbered with dozens of misspelled words.
Ironically, the lesson points to the fact that the essay uses punctuation and spelling, where punctuation is missing on the same page and words are spelled incorrectly. Maybe it's time to learn that "defaults" do NOT exist as words. Enter "standards".
So, when such a lesson appears to us unjustly in the higher education body in the country, which is supposed to be a model, what can we expect from the next generation? Is Albanian in its darkest days? I would like to contradict myself, would like to contradict myself, but in the face of such a lesson, people are not to blame for wrong writing. Albanian may not be in its darkest days, but it is likely that darker days await it.
