Tired of the routine of staying home for days, people find pleasure in the little things. A self-made cake, or a lunch ordered by your favorite restaurant! Unable to enjoy it there, a good portion of people have found salvation in custom foods.
However, we all have been wondering beforehand if we are sure what we are doing before ordering the shipment. Do we risk getting food ready?
Initially, you should know that so far experts say that it has never been tried to transmit COVID-19 through food. If the food is prepared to the proper hygiene standards and everything else, there is nothing to worry about.
Should We Consume Ready-Made Foods?
It has been said hundreds of times that so far the only cure for all this is social distancing. This means that if you have no choice but to eat it, you can do it, but remember to keep the proper distance.
More than just delivering food, however, people are at risk of standing next to each other and not following the rules. To return to the foods, home cooking is the safest option.
If you order food, remember:
Foods ordered before they arrive at you are passed on to other locations and consequently to "many hands." When the order arrives, make sure you keep a distance when you receive it, for your safety and the sender's.
At that point it would be best to wipe the packaging with a damp paper and then wash your hands to make sure the surface is clean.
After you have moved it to the plate, wash your hands again. Try to be as simple as possible in your orders, as it is not the right time to experiment with different dishes. Pasta is the ideal option.
