The municipality of Tirana has suspended public transport and starting tomorrow (March 13th), only a certain category of people will be able to travel by bus.
Veliaj explained that urbanites will only serve doctors, nurses and medical staff, who are at the service of people during this situation caused by the global pandemic.
The mayor said that every urban would be accompanied by a police patrol who would instead of "fatorino" ask people for identification, to avoid abuse in connection with this particular service.
Concerning buses, he assured that they would be large enough to maintain the necessary distance.
Another exception will be for sick people.
