After Prime Minister Rama warned of traffic restrictions, the Municipality of Tirana suspended public transport to prevent the spread of Covid-19, but in the morning some urban residents were seen circulating in the capital, questioning whether the order was being implemented or no.
In an Instagram post, the mayor, Erion Veliaj, explained that there was no deviation from the order, but the first buses in the capital were those who "brought home third shift workers" because they were "unaware yesterday".
The prime minister added that transport dedicated to doctors and nurses is also being prepared and there is no urban transport in Tirana and Durres at noon today.
