As a measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus, it was initially said that some facilities that would gather a certain number of people would be closed. Given the current situation and low awareness of the people, the government has been forced to take extreme measures in relation to bars, restaurants or clubs in Tirana and Durres.
Through a status on Facebook, Prime Minister Rama said that all bars or restaurants would be closed without any exception.
"Sorry, but seeing the low level of awareness of many citizens, mostly young people, who find it even harder to stay in one place, WE WILL BE REQUIRED TO CLOSE ALL RESTAURANTS, BARS, CLUBS, IN TIRANA AND DURRA ! THIS IS NOT A TIME TO RUN AND ENTERTAINMENT OUTSIDE THE HOUSE, BUT THERE IS WAR AND THIS WAR IS ONLY WON LIMITING YOUR FREEDOM, DIFFERENT FROM ITSELF
In addition to the above measures the premises to be closed / closed are the following:
1. No organization of sports, cultural activities, conferences / seminars, theaters, cinemas etc. will be allowed.
2. The gathering and attendance / watching of football matches in stadiums shall not be permitted, according to the AFF decision.
3. Gatherings such as gatherings / manifestations, outings, concerts, public hearings will be prohibited.
