After the first wave of panic has passed, we are a little clearer on the precautions we need to take to guard against coronavirus and bacteria. The most important thing is to wash your hands with soap and plenty of water for at least 20 seconds. Don't forget your big toes, down to the nails and wrists.
All this work is of course harmful if we touch the phone that has been on the diner desk, on the floor, in the pocket, in the bag, in the hands of others with clean hands. Therefore, to prevent the bacteria from passing through the phone again into the hands, clean it!
Apple recommends using a fabric that cleans the glass, like the one that cleans the glasses. If you have an iPhone 7 or later, you can use a soapy water cloth as the latest models are water resistant.
Apple and Samsung advise against using detergents in cleaning the phones as they may damage the screen cover. But if you have protective glass, wet disinfectant papers do no harm to the real screen. Protective glass can be replaced.
If you talk on the phone often, consider using headphones so that you do not bring the device to your face so often. Even the headphones need cleaning, of course. You can use alcohol as long as you do not wet the pin and the part of the headphones that go into your ear.
