Given the desire for quality higher education and a lack of information among Albanian students, Anabel worked with Study Care to answer any questions you may have. Very often we hear that regardless of opportunity or will, they do not know where to start. And rightly so. The journey to a university abroad is complicated and illuminated. With the help of a study agency like Study Care, we respond to all the uncertainties.
Where to start?
The best way to find out about your options is through the Study Abroad Saturday Fair that Study Care organizes on February 29, at 12 noon. Just sign up at this link and show up at Hotel Plaza, in Queen Geraldine Hall.
What happens at the fair?
Study Abroad Saturday will be attended by official representatives of 50 universities partnering with Study Care. Interested students can talk to each of them at the stands and get the information you need. In addition to universities, various gymnasiums in England, the US and Europe will also be present. They offer academic programs and summer schools. Study Care staff will also be available to assist you with anything you may need.
How much do services and attendance at the fair cost?
Study Care services and attendance at the fair are free.
Why free?
Study Care, as a study agency, has collaborations with a number of universities and is not allowed to be paid by students under contracts.
What are the admission criteria for foreign universities?
The three most important are average, English level and budget.
How important is the average?
It is the most important. Depends on the university, but an average of about 7.5 is normally required.
What if I don't have that high average?
For low-level students with poor English, it is recommended to attend a Foundation Year, known as the Foundation Year, prior to the Bachelor program. This year helps them increase their average, English level and, consequently, their chances of being admitted to university. Even for the Master level, a year of Pre Master is recommended. You can find out more about these preparations at Study Abroad Saturday.
How much does an average study year cost?
Universities representing Study Care have the following average prices: In Europe, a year of study costs on average 10,000 euros, in America 20,000 dollars and in England 12,000 pounds.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
If you decide to apply through Study Care, they will also assist you with applying for the scholarship you are entitled to. Even thanks to them they approve you. However, keep in mind that the average should be above 9 and English B2 or B2 + level.
How many scholarships can they give me?
Universities in America offer scholarships up to 50% of the tuition fee, while in England 25%. If the Master is concerned, the value of the scholarship is even lower.
Can I study abroad without spending at all?
No, it is practically impossible.
Are you allowed to work while studying abroad?
International students can work 20 hours a week, part-time. With the income earned, a student can cover at least nutrition.
What documents are needed for the application?
To apply to English universities you will need a passport, a translated and notarized grade list, an IELTS certification, a cover letter, two references (academic or professional) and a CV.
Applying for a US university requires a passport, a translated and notarized grade list, an IELTS / TOEFL / Duolingo certification, a cover letter, two references (academic or professional), a CV, and a university-wide SAT exam.
For other universities in Europe you can ask at Study Abroad Saturday because they vary.
If I am accepted, where will I live?
You can be accommodated on the campus of the university where you are accepted as a student, at a relative or off campus. Study Care presents you all the options you have and you choose the one that suits you the most.
Is It Worth Studying Outside?
Education is one of the few things that is never devalued. All the more so when it comes to the best universities in Europe and North America. Students studying abroad are better professionals in their field and more accomplished in personal careers. In other words, a good university is a secure future.
