In just a few months, "Parasite" became the film that managed to triumph at the Cannes Film Festival , snatching the most important award, the Palme d'Or, becoming the first South Korean film to win a Golden Globe and make history at the Oscars , becoming the first non-English film to win the "Best Picture", where in the entire Oscars history only 11 international films have been nominated in the category of "Best Film".
