We're sorry, but if you plan to propose to the man of heart, know that you have to work a little harder. After this extraordinary proposal, the standard has increased quite a bit.
Lee Loechler, a Boston-based filmmaker, spent six months surprising his girlfriend like never before.
"I worked for six months with an illustrator to animate myself and my girlfriend in her favorite movie, Sleeping Beauty," he writes on YouTube, under the proposal video. On December 30, he filled the movie theater with family and friends and hoped that everything would go well.
In the video, Loechler sits next to his girlfriend Sthuthi David watching the Sleeping Beauty, only to find that the ending is different from the original Disney version. In the film, the princess resembles Sthuth, while the prince resembles Lee. After the prince bends to kiss the princess and wakes her up, she pulls out a ring from her pocket. The film's prince then throws Loechler's box into the hall.
The movie stops, Loechler kneels down and tells his girlfriend, "I love you with all my heart, with all my ventricles, atriums, and valves." She pauses and explains to the audience that she's a cardiologist. He then asks: ?Dr. Sthuth David, will you live happily ever after me? ?And she said yes, the crowd burst into cheers, in the background? Once Upon A Dream started playing. ?
