The Henley Passport Index , which periodically assesses the world's friendliest passports, has compiled the first list of the new decade.
Japan tops the list offering freedom to travel to 191 destinations worldwide. Asia tops the list as well with Singapore in second and South Korea in third. Along with South Korea is Germany.
In terms of European countries, they stand in the Top10: Italy and Finland in fourth place; Spain, Luxembourg and Denmark in fifth place; Sweden and France in sixth. The Top10 also lists Switzerland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Austria, Ireland, Norway, Greece and Belgium.
Albania ranks 54th, behind Georgia and ahead of Turkey, with 114 destinations.
The US and the United Kingdom continue to fall in the rankings, ranking eighth, far from the first place they held in 2015.
