The public conflict between ART and Albautor, (dealing with copyright and intellectual property), has grown in size after the involvement of a large number of composers. The latter demand that ART no longer broadcast any of the material and creations of all authors until the problem of non-payment of copyright by television is resolved.
"Albanian creators have joined through the ALBAUTOR Collective Copyright Agency to protest together and legally stop abusive use of their copyright by Albanian Radio and Television."
In a request to the general director of ART, the statement posted by Albautor on Facebook qualifies the use of the authors' works by ART as a flagrant case of property theft and abuse of national culture.

Such a conflict came to light following the removal of the Song Festival songs from the ART channel's YouTube channel, which initially said it was a technical problem, an issue which was dismissed after Albautor's statement.
