Princess Beatrice canceled the engagement party as a result of her father's scandal, Prince Andrew. As you may already know, Prince Andrew relinquished his royal duties after a shocking interview on the BBC explaining his association with human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and dismissed allegations that he had abused minors.
According to the Daily Mail, Beatrice had planned a wedding party at a restaurant in London, which was supposed to be held next week, "but had to postpone it because she believed the paparazzi would block the road looking for Prince Andrew."
It seems that Beatrice and her fiancé, edo Mapelli Mozzi, came to the conclusion that a restaurant would be a very public place to hold an event of this importance in a difficult moment for the family. Therefore, the couple changed plans and postponed the engagement date for Prince Andrew to have the opportunity to be present.
And this is the least. It is rumored that Prince Charles "plans to consider royal families only his heirs" when taking the throne, which excludes Andrew, Beatrice and Eugenie.
But of course, Prince Charles is still a prince, so he doesn't know what is going on.
