Today, in "what my eyes are reading" we have the story of an Albanian woman, living in Turin who found a cat and with her, the idea of earning some money.
While on the roads, a 4-year-old European-style Tigruz cat was found by a 54-year-old Albanian. Instead of returning it to the lady immediately, she first demanded a monetary reward. He contacted the 22-year-old who was a cat lady at WatsApp and asked for a thousand euros. After negotiations and after photos and videos proving the welfare of the animal, the owner and the sheriff agreed to 300 euros.
On Sunday, the Albanian woman was arrested by the carabinieri because the lady of the animal showed up at the exchange site accompanied by them. The arrest was made after the cat returned to the 22-year-old's arms and the Albanian received the reward. She is charged with extortion and is under house arrest.
