Disney has announced that it will release a new version of the famous movie Home Alone, almost three decades after the original. After the company bought 20th Century Fox, Disney announced it would "use some of Fox's most famous titles" in order to bring in more content. This time, it was said that a new version of "Home Alone" would be created.
The news was in fact not welcomed by followers, including the protagonist of the 1990 film, Macaulay Culkin (Kevin McCallister). As you can see, he posted a not-so-nice picture of himself, which reads "here's what the new version of 'Home Alone' will look like."

Fans point out that "Disney doesn't have to interfere with classic films" when instead "focusing on new productions".
