The Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas suddenly married after the award-winning Billboard Music Awards. The ceremony was supposed to remain secret, but the famous DJ Diplo "destroyed everything" by broadcasting the live wedding.
During an interview with US radio presenter Ryan Seacrest, the DJ stated that "he did not destroy his marriage", although Jonas joked (half of the truth) said in an interview shortly before that "Diplo broke the moment magic ".
He admits that he published photos and videos without first asking the pair, but thought he was not a real wedding. "I did not know what it was. It was a madness. " He adds that without other people being filmed, he thought to publish it at Isntagram.
Sophie and Jonas will plan a wedding this summer in France, where a symbolic or religious marriage does not constitute legal marriage, both of them married in advance to the US. It is not yet known whether Diplo will be invited, though it will certainly never repeat the mistake.
