In an interview for the afternoon show "Rudina", LGBTQ + activist has confessed inter alia for the moment when parents learned that she was a lesbian. Truthfully, parents learned it by accident.
"The show was. I was on a 2010 show with a face covered. I was together with my two friends, one Albanian and the other American. My parents have heard of the show where I came face-to-face and discussed about love among women. But during the show we did not change the voice and you know that voice is a very characteristic feature, to identify it immediately. So they knew it, I did not say that I was open. It was one of the most difficult moments of my life because I would face my biggest fear, which is the loss of support and love of the parents. Fortunately I have two wonderful parents, the source of my strength. I do not say that they welcomed him with the greatest pleasure. I would hypocritically say the opposite. All the parents in the world do not look forward to any great enthusiasm. Unfortunately, we live in a very small community and somewhat I think that kills Albanian parents. "
During the show, Karaj also mentioned the moment he spoke publicly about her sexual orientation.
"It's a debate on the parade in 2012. Before going to the studio, my mom said to me: 'The bad thing do not talk to Mom. "
