Former US President George HW Bush has been separated from life at the age of 94. The news of death has been announced by his son George W. Bush.
"Jeb, Neil, Marvin, Doro and I are sad to announce that after 94 remarkable years, our beloved has died. He was a very characterful person and the best father a boy or a girl could ask for.
The entire Bush family is very grateful for all those who have looked after and prayed for my dad and also for all the comfort of our friends and citizens, "writes George W. Bush in his official announcement.
Bush has died at around 10 am (local time) yesterday. He served as the head of the United States during the 1989-1993 period, which also marked the first Iraq war against Saddam Hussein.
Although recent years his health has deteriorated, he never gave up on public outreach. Bush's death came seven months after separating from the life of former first lady, Barbara Bush.
